Follow these steps to snap in Windows 10:
- On the window you want to snap, select and hold the title bar.
- Drag the window to the left or right side of your screen.
- On the other side of the screen, select the thumbnail for the application you want to open in the remaining space.
- Snapping is also available for Timeline activities.
- Select the Task View icon or press and hold the Windows and Tab keys on your keyboard.
- From the Timeline, right-click an activity, and then select Snap left or Snap right.
- On the other side of the screen, select the thumbnail for the application you want to open in the remaining space.
- Resize the snapped windows by selecting the edge of a window and dragging it to the desired width.
- The other snapped windows automatically resize to fit on the screen.
