Follow these steps to restore an HP webcam in Windows Device Manager:
- If the HP webcam is not listed in Device Manager in Windows, restart your computer.
- In the search bar, type Device Manager, and then select it from the results.
- If the Imaging devices category does not display or if the webcam still does not display in the category, select Action, and then select Scan for hardware changes.
- If the webcam still does not display, you might need to perform a Microsoft System Restore to go back to a time when the webcam was functioning correctly.
