Follow these steps to remove and replace the Base Enclosure on the OMEN by HP 15 Laptop PC:
- For removal, remove the six, 2.5-millimeter P1 Phillips head screws that secure the base enclosure to the top cover.
- Remove the two, six-millimeter P1 Phillips head screws that secure the base enclosure to the top cover.
- Carefully separate the edges of the base enclosure from the top cover.
- Remove the base enclosure.
- To replace, align the edges of the base enclosure with the top cover and place it into position.
- Apply pressure to the edges of the base enclosure until it snaps into place.
- Replace the two, six-millimeter P1 Phillips head screws that secure the base enclosure to the top cover.
- Replace the six, 2.5-millimeter P1 Phillips head screws that secure the base enclosure to the top cover.
