Follow these steps to disable the webcam on HP computers in Windows:
-Unplug any USB devices from the computer.
-In Windows, select Start.
-Type Device Manager, and then select it from the results.
-Next to Imaging devices, select the arrow to expand the selection.
-Right-click the webcam, and then select Disable or Disable device.
-Select Yes to confirm disabling the webcam.
